That same philosophy extends to Made for the Water, our Stayinphase journal.

Designed by Bowden Edgar, with photography by Jay Clark, our journals have been carefully considered from cover to cover. Printed and finished by With Print using GF Smith papers, the production reflects the same care and craftsmanship that goes into our engineering.

The unique, undersized cover gives a glimpse of what lies inside. The cover is duplexed using a combination of two 175gsm GF Smith Colorplan papers. A flash of hot pink on the inner cover contrasting with a Smoke, Dark grey or Ebony outer cover. The text inside is printed on lighter weight; 150gsm Munken Design Polar Crisp White Rough paper.

The journal is hand-bound by Singer sewing; a stitched single line of cotton in pink down the spine.

The Stayinphase marque on the front and “Made for the water” on the back are foiled on front and back covers in Foilco KMS700 Gloss Black or in a Pantone Silver.

Every choice has been made deliberately.

And that is the connection between the journal and our engineering. Whether we’re refining a bespoke winch system or producing something that tells its story, the principle is the same: the details matter.

Because in elite engineering, as in craftsmanship, the smallest things can make the biggest difference.
